Remixer Notes

Hi again and again all music lovers!

Here it is my third cover specially written for my wife cipriana (so, no harpsichord at all!)

This time vocal lines and some "concrete percussions" have been used for inspiring a "nocturnal love song" where some invocations and natural "so far" calls interweave themselves.

Again, a string quintett (2 Vlns, 1 Vla, 1 Vcl, 1 Db) was used in a "throbbing" (aka "timing"), "harmonic" (aka "flageolet") and "muted" (aka "con sordino") sense.

Enjoy this new one tune!

Saluti,

...andrea [ aka "idefix" aka "dersklerosenkavalier" ] riderelli...

[ to cipriana ]

Technical Information

» done as usual with my current and preferred tools (please, see my others remix for details)

(for curious souls only: headphones (sometimes) recommended...)

Great version, i love the space you've left as you did as well in your Not one of us-remix. The rytmical part at the end is very wicked. Remixes like yours make it very very worthwhile to drop in here every now and then. Thanks for posting this one, sei bravissimo. :-)

Mischief, curious, and intrigue combined for a film adventure. Are you doing film music? You should be. :-)

I've enjoyed every second of it

Very very nice. Harmonically speaking, it is just perfect. I really like 2:19 to 2:42 when the motif is going on alternated between the vln & vla(i think), and to bleed/mix with the bck vocals! Beautifull.

:-)

Cosmic voices, listen hard and long starting at 2:42

when you judge someones music it's relative to what you as an individual have heard throughout your life and in my case, as a composer, also what I deem great music, I could give many, many, examples but I'm sure you get my point.

So compared to this example and its ilk your music leaves me cold, is merely dressing, where is the melody?

Be inspired and don't rely on technical knowhow, music is about passion, not just mathematical equations, forget what you've learnt and start again, like a infant with no forethought or understanding of the outcome, just searching for a pleasing sound/tune, nothing more nothing less, then and only then can you use your vast knowledge.

so it's zilch, cos you're possibly able, certainly capable, of doing much better, we'll see eh.

I mention this with kindness not malice.

Ditto mon ami, I to am flattered that you've actually taken the time und trouble to dechipher da rabid nonsense I'm prone to spout.

Shakesphere used to be plain Olde English, I joketh ye not.

Dis will suffice

I do hope dis little ditty, er, composition? is not too simple for your complex mind eh.

4 da record, Ol' Pete has stated on, er, record, dat he prefers Bob Fripps version of "Here Comes The Flood" dismissing his own version as "pretentious", this is called "Being Wise After The Event", don't make da same mistake, wise-up, to my lugholes your magnum opus sounds like several string samples, er, strung together, little more than a collage, I believe I could argue successfully, in a court of law, dat mon version of this song is closer to the ancient passionate spirit of the examples provided above, you're welcome to prove moi wrong, I'm all ears bruv.

As for Da Flood, if true, und in Pete's defence, i would argue, again, probably successfully, dat it was the producer who screwed up, even so, where was ol' Pete, und where is he now, cos there's better, (certainly as good as) producers than Ezrin residing here, eh.

Is every bod an' 'is missus called Andrea/s on dis bleedin' site, or what?

I luv dis forkin' palace.
